1855 Staff Pistol. A French-made staff officer's pistol with a percussion lock and double trigger. Double-barreled steel barrels with octagonal bore. Neo-Renaissance style stock with fluted grip. France, mid-19th century. These pistols were produced in small quantities; a very fine collector's item due to its rarity. Smoothbore barrel; nipples and barrel have been cleaned. Weapon in working order.
