Flintlock rifle (handmade, .45 caliber). This Spanish ARDESA flintlock rifle is entirely handcrafted and a luxury model. A gunsmith's mark is visible on the top: J.W.P., and another, barely legible, mark: ARDESA. The underside of the barrel is marked "Cal. .45" and a two-digit serial number: I 28 I. See photo #10 (minor flaws). Also see photos #11 (rifling) and #12 (small hole at the ramrod recess), but the latter is invisible when the ramrod is in place. The trigger guard... It was cracked, but it is secure and doesn't move. The weapon can be disassembled into two parts, making it very practical and easy to transport. Overall length: 122 cm; barrel length: 84.05 cm; weight: 3,400 g.
